I want the New World Translation with references with thumb index but they're not made with thumb index so, does anybody know if it's possible to put them in or somewhere they offer that service? Thank you. Asked by Beca - Fri May 21 10:09:32 2010 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. You can go to a stationary store and purchase thumb indexes. Too bad you want them for a translation that has been made to support false doctrines though. New World Translation Bible - Is it Credible? Jehovah s Witnesses claim that the New World Translation (NWT) Bible is the work of competent scholars. Conversely, they contend that other Bible translations are corrupted by religious traditions that are rooted in paganism. In reality, the NWT is the work of a Bible Translation Committee with no working knowledge of biblical languages. Their bias is so blatant that Dr Bruce Metzger, professor of New Testament at Princeton, not only characterized the NWT as a frightful mistranslation but as erroneous, pernicious, and … [cont.] Answered by Martin S - Fri May 21 10:14:31 2010 How would I create an index for a portfolio of stocks? Q. I want to create an index for about 50 stocks in a portfolio to track their performance. I want the index to be similiat to the S&P 500 so that it will account for stock splits and other factors. But that would give you an index that is weighted by market cap. Or you could just add up all the stock prices and divide by 50. Then if one split you would have to add an adjust factor to that particular stock as in for a 2 for 1 split that would be stock price times 2. That would result in stocks with higher prices having a greater influence. Or in a stock tracking portfolio where you can enter dollar amounts just put in the same $1,000 starting value for each stock making your index start at $50,000 then track the ups and downs. That would let you see how the individual stocks perform with the individual values at any… [cont.] Answered by Thor - Sun Nov 23 21:40:09 2008 What is the significance or wearing a ring on the index finger?
Q. I am right handed and wear a ring on the opposite hand, on the index finger. Does it signify anything? Asked by yes_i_deliver - Fri Nov 7 17:11:28 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Hey there. Well according to Wikipedia.. This finger reflects our need to enhance our ego. The forefinger, throughout history, has represented authority and power. It is associated with leadership and ambition. Kings, priests and healers wore rings on the index finger because that finger was thought to be especially powerful. Nowadays, people wear rings on the index finger as a display of assertiveness, or power. *But I have never heard of this before.
